The Sunset Series, a 99 episode video series, was produced in the summer of 2020, 400 years after the First Encounter between the Mayflower passengers and the Nauset. These 10-minute presentations share fragments of Eastham’s history and the meanings that this history holds today. From readings of Ian Saxine’s new book, The Story of the “First Encounter” at Nauset to reflections by local activists on current Cape Cod issues, the Sunset Series strives to retell familiar histories in a new way.
All Sunset Series videos are available on our YouTube channel. For your convenience, videos on this page are grouped thematically.
